Re: What is a decent Wilks score?

A woman weighing 120lbs (54.4kg) squatting 400lbs (181.5kg) gets 218.29 Wilks points. A male and a female lifter weighing the same 160lbs/72.5kg, registering a total of 500lbs/227kg would score respectively 165 Wilks points (male) and 220 Wilks points (female).

Re: What are good powerlifting numbers?

A powerlifting total is your score which is the addition of your best squat, bench, and deadlift. If a person squats 400, benches 300, and deadlifts 500 their total is 1200 lbs. Each lift has a few key rules, I can't cover every scenario due to space here but these are the super key highlights.

Re: At what age do your muscles fully develop?

Peak muscle mass occurs between the ages of 16 and 20 years in females and between 18 and 25 years in males unless affected by resistance exercise, diet, or both.

Re: Can a 40 year old woman get toned?

For women, once we turn 40, our metabolic rate in which we burn calories drops. We lose muscle tone and bone density. As we age, strength or resistance training becomes key to adding new muscle mass and maintaining good overall health and bone density, not to mention toned upper arms.
